| Family Fitness Zone is a full service facility with almost 10,000 sq. ft. of
space that offers programs for ALL AGES from Preschoolers to Seniors! When an
adult class is scheduled, corresponding kids' classes are going on at the same
time. Parents can now exercise together. |
| Planning for the opening of Family Fitness Zone began in March 2004 when the
owner, Tracey Hennemann of Coventry, identified a need for a family fitness
center in the area. The idea for Family Fitness Zone arose out of the
troubling percentage of overweight adults and an even more staggering
number of overweight and obese children.
As a mother of 3 children with full-time employment,
Tracey needed a way to fit exercise into her hectic schedule without
compromising her family time. Family Fitness Zone was the answer!
Now Tracey takes and teaches classes 4-6 times per week while the 3 children
participate in activities such as gymnastics, soccer, scooter games, and
creative movement. |

| Construction began during the summer of 2004 with Andy Hennemann, the
co-owner, as the General Contractor. Andy designed and built the center
from a large empty space. He made the vision a reality!
The doors
officially opened on January 1, 2005. Thanks to all of our staff and
members who made Family Fitness Zone a success! Andy and Tracey Hennemann and their 3 children, Julia, Victoria, & Andrew
live in Coventry.
