Kid's Fitness Program*

Class Schedule

Animal Frenzy (3-7yrs): This class focuses on motor skills using the movements of animals (hop, jump, gallop, and flap your wings) and encourages imaginary play while learning important physical skills.

Backyard Bash (3-7yrs): All the great games you remember as a kid! Children participate in a variety of games that emphasize coordination, imaginary play, and teamwork.

Boogie Woogie (3-7yrs): Get ready to shake, wiggle, dance and shout! Time for the little ones to show what they are all about. Watch them boogie and woogie and show their moves to music that will dance the energy right out of them.

Cardio Challenge (3-7 & 8-12yrs):  An aerobic workout combining various types of equipment to combine a fun, challenging body workout.

Cardio Cross Train (3-7 & 8-12yrs): Getting the heart pumping using different movements and combining conditioning techniques giving a fun, challenging workout.

Creative Movement (3-7yrs): Basic moves of dance and play to improve flexibility and strength. Scarves, hula hoops and ribbons add to the excitement!

Fitness Adventure (3-7yrs): Develops coordination and gross motor skills through imaginary play and movement.

 

 

Fitness Blast (3-7 & 8-12yrs): This class consists of creative, fun and high-energy exercises. Emphasis is on teaching kids to increase their heart rates, learning about muscle groups and having fun!

FreeStyle (3+ yrs):  FreeStyle applies when structured classes are not scheduled. Children participate in various activities chosen by the instructor(s) based on the ages of the participants.

Funky Fit (3-7yrs):  Build your child’s confidence, social skills, and physical fitness in a dynamic and fun atmosphere. The children participate in activities that enhance motor skill development and encourage group participation.

Jump & Pump (3-7yrs): Focuses on strengthening muscles and agility training while having a fun time jumping around and getting blood pumping.

K.O. Kickboxing 8-12yrs): Punch, jab, kick and shout. Learn the basics of cardio kickboxing in a fun environment. The class focus is to get this age group up and moving.

Little Gymnasts (3-7yrs): Tumbling basics are the focus. Children learn the basic tumbling, balance and social skills in a positive environment. This class will also help increase their flexibility, strength and coordination through the use of obstacle courses, gymnastic equipment and games.

 

 Little Yogies (3-7yrs): Combination of basic yoga poses and stretches to increase flexibility and balance. All moves safely modified for little bodies!

Move & Groove (8-12yrs): Shake your booty! Bring down the house and break a sweat with fun and hip dance that will challenge you, make you move and groove and allowing your spirit to soar.

Practice! (8-12 yrs):  It’s all about sports! Indoor baseball, volleyball, soccer, basketball, just to name a few. Guiding the participants through activities that will increase their sports ability and agility.  Of course, having fun at the same time!

Rock Solid Wall (8-12yrs): Focuses on coordination, strength and agility training all needed to climb our rock wall. Beginner level instruction up to advanced activities on the wall.

Sports Training (8-12yrs): Work those muscles! This class combines different strength and cardio stations that that are tailored especially for kids. This class will get them in shape for the up coming sports season or just to keep in good physical shape.

*Our class schedule changes with every season, 4 times per year.  The listing above includes all of our classes that are offered throughout the year.  Only a selection of the above classes will be offered on each schedule.
